Installation time varies by length, size, and stylist speed—typically 3 to 6 hours. Smaller or longer twists take longer; please arrive with clean, detangled hair. We'll give an estimated time when you book to plan accordingly.
When installed and removed properly, Passion Twists protect hair by minimizing manipulation. Tight installations or rough removal can stress edges, so we recommend experienced stylists, gentle tension, and scheduled maintenance. Communicate concerns so we adjust tension and recommend protective aftercare.
Passion Twists typically last 4 to 8 weeks depending on growth, care, and activity level. Light maintenance like scalp cleansing and edge retouching helps prolong the style. We advise removing or redoing them by eight weeks to avoid matting and tangling.
Hair is not included with our Passion Twist service. Clients should bring pre-selected extension hair or purchase recommended brands from the salon. We’ll advise on quantity and color during booking to ensure the best match and accurate pricing.
Protect twists at night with a satin bonnet or silk scarf to reduce frizz and friction. Use diluted shampoo or co-wash and focus on the scalp, rinsing gently. Avoid heavy oils near roots and allow twists to fully dry to prevent mildew.
Light styling like updos, ponytails, and accessorizing is safe, but avoid excessive heat to prevent synthetic hair damage. Coloring synthetic extensions is not recommended; consult us before attempting color changes. We can install pre-colored hair for customized looks.
